NIKE Golf's two-step precision forging process providing superior accuracy and feel while eliminating soft and hot spots on the face. Allows for much tighter specifications and advanced machining to precision tolerances giving the player a more dependable set of clubs.

The Pro Combo 2, 3 and 4-irons carry more weight in the sole, and from heel and toe, to create a lower center of gravity and greater inertia. That produces less clubhead twisting and fewer slices than usual long-iron play.

The back cavities in the 5, 6 and 7-irons, are partially filled with weight pads that balance forgiveness and accuracy. Clubhead weight is distributed progressively toward the toe as loft increases, which allows for better feel.

The 8 and 9-iron and pitching wedge are blades, each with a higher center of gravity. That prevents shots from ballooning, making for a precise and consistent short game.

Rather than choose between V grooves and U grooves, Tom Stites incorporated the best of both in the Pro Combo irons with what he calls proprietary U/V Scoring Grooves. The grooves are the perfect blend of square and angled grooves, according to Stites, and help channel water and grass away from the clubface more effectively, allowing for cleaner contact and better control.

Steel shafts are Nike Speed Step...made of a unique high-strength steel alloy...30% lighter than traditional steel shafts. Sets come 3-9, PW (8 irons).
